James Telfer is the founder and owner of Serenity Home Inspections. Originally from Emporia, KS., he grew up playing basketball, baseball, and helping his father with home improvement projects. His love for architectural integrity and problem solving steered him in the direction of owning his own Home Inspection company. James was trained and educated at Midwest Inspectors Institute, passed the National Home Inspector’s Exam, and is certified to perform radon tests as well as mold and termite inspections. As a Kansas native, James knows the housing market well and understands the importance of providing his clients with a detailed and timely analysis of their home’s condition.  A fun fact! The name Serenity Home Inspections derives from a dream James and his wife had at the beginning of their relationship to one day own a small hobby farm named Serenity Farms! Today, they reside in Towanda, KS with their four dogs, three cats, turtles, and pet pig - Lulu Lemon.
